You Are an Expression of Light
Everything you see and everything you don't see is an expression of light.
When I talk about light, I'm not just talking about the visible light we see with our physical eyes. I'm talking about the underlying essence that everything is made of.
Another word we use for light is Spirit.
Before light expresses itself, there’s darkness.
I like to think of this darkness as the womb because the womb is where life begins. It's a place of pure potential before something takes form and expresses itself.
Darkness isn't the absence of light. Darkness is all light combined before it expresses.
This is also where the concepts of male and female come in. When I use those words in this context, I'm talking about states of being and expression, not gender.
The female state is the womb, the state of being and pure potential. The male state is the active expression that comes from that potential.
So we're not talking about men and women; we're talking about principles of creation.
When light begins to express itself, it takes on different forms and different densities. This is where creation begins.
Light Expresses Itself in Different Forms
Everything is light expressing itself in different ways.
Stars are expressions of light. Planets are expressions of light. You are an expression of light.
What makes these expressions appear different is the frequency light is expressing, which affects the form and density it takes on.
Some expressions are lighter. Others are more condensed.
The physical world we're experiencing right now is one of those denser expressions. Our physical bodies are dense enough that we can touch them, see them, and experience this reality through them.
But density doesn't change what something is made of. This is why I don't really see existence as a hierarchy where something is automatically greater because we call it "higher."
What we call higher is really lighter.
Everything Is in Motion
Nothing within creation is just sitting still.
The Earth and other planets are moving around the Sun, while our solar system as a whole is moving along with other star systems. Our galaxy and other galaxies are moving within something larger.
Everything is moving around something while that something is also moving around something else.
There are systems within systems within systems.
And the universe is breathing. It's expanding and contracting while everything within it is continually moving.
Our bodies do the same thing.
We breathe, and within our bodies are systems made up of organs, tissues, cells, and even smaller aspects within those cells. There's constant movement taking place within all of it.
So when we look out into the cosmos and see planets, stars, star systems, and galaxies moving within larger systems, we're seeing the same type of pattern that exists within us.
We aren't separate from the architecture we're observing. We're an expression of it.
But there's something else that's important to understand...
We're observing all of these movements from an earthly perspective.
If you were able to perceive those same movements from somewhere beyond Earth, such as from another star system or galaxy, they would look and feel different because you would be observing them from a different point within the larger system.
This is why looking at everything strictly from Earth's perspective, or even from the perspective of our solar system, doesn't give us the complete picture.
There are beings in other star systems that travel throughout the galaxy and perceive these movements from a much broader perspective. From those different perspectives, they can see relationships and influences that are difficult for us to recognize when we're observing everything from inside our own small part of the system.
And this becomes important when we're trying to understand what's affecting us.
Everything is Connected
Different expressions of light interact with one another through vibration and frequency.
Stars interact with other stars. Planets interact with other planetary bodies. Star systems exist within larger galactic systems, and those galaxies exist within an even larger universe.
We tend to separate these things and give them different names because that's how we make sense of what we're observing.
We call one thing a star.
We call another thing a planet.
We call ourselves human beings.
But underneath the different forms, it's all light expressing itself in different ways.
You Are Part of That Same Living System
The same principles that apply to everything around you also apply to you. You're not something separate from the universe looking out at it. You're part of it.
The physical body you're experiencing right now is one expression of light within a much larger living system. And just as the planets, stars, solar systems, and galaxies exist within larger systems, you also exist within something much larger than the physical version of yourself.
When you begin looking at yourself from that perspective, who you are starts to extend far beyond the physical person you see in the mirror.
You’re an expression of the same light that everything else is made of.
